Passenger bus ploughs into children

SIALKOT, Sept 27: An infuriated mob set ablaze a passenger bus near Chawinda in Pasrur tehsil after it hit several children standing at a bus stop on Thursday.

Reports said the speeding Narowal-bound bus (LHP-1776) hit some children when they were standing at the bus stop as a result they received serious injuries. The bus overturned and fell into a road-side ravine.

Later, people got infuriated and set the vehicle on fire. The bus driver and conductor managed their escape.

BODIES FOUND: Two decomposed bodies were found from canals here on Thursday.

Reports said body of an unidentified woman was found from Upper Chenab Canal near Nizam Din Bridge, Head Marala. The body had torture marks. Head Marala police are investigating. Pasrur Saddar police found body of an unidentified man from BRB Canal near Chak Mattu-Baasiwala. A case has been registered.
