Transfers


LAHORE, Sept 25: The Punjab government on Tuesday transferred and posted some officials.

Gujranwala DIG (administration) Syed Moravet Ali Shah who is also holding additional charge of the Gujranwala region-II RPO, was relieved of his duties in the Punjab government to report to the ministry of interior, Islamabad.

S&GAD deputy secretary (development) Muhammad Anwar Javed was re-employed on contract for a period of two years and was allowed to continue on his present assignment.

Assistant chief, planning and development department, Muhammad Iqbal Akhtar was transferred and posted as Mandi Bahauddin EDO (finance and planning) against a vacant post.

Awaiting posting in the S&GAD, Rab Nawaz was appointed as Multan DDO (consolidation).

Allama Iqbal Medical College associate professor of community medicine Dr Naheed Humayun Sheikh was promoted to the rank of professor and was posted in the same college.

Secretary (cooperatives) Mazhar Ali Khan was transferred and allowed to go on a Staff College course. He was replaced by cooperatives registrar Khalid Pervaiz.

Literacy and non-formal education secretary Rai Ejaz Ali Zaigham was transferred and posted as P&D member in place of Abdur Rauf Khan. Mr Khan was posted in place of Mr Zaigham.—Staff Reporter
