KARACHI, Sept 25: Nine ships carrying steel coils, containers and general cargo are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Wednesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where five ships, Cosco Lian Yun Gang, MOL Admiration and Conti Harmony to unload and load containers, Thor Jupiter, steel scrap and Chemstar Brave, with Chemicals were berthed on Tuesday.

Sailing was also active as seven vessels, Med Arrara, Kota Gunawan, Satha Bhum, Addaraq, Akaki, Diamond Park and Oel Shrevas departed, while Chemstar Brave, Sea Princess, Cosco Lian Yun Gang, Tug Mahanuwara, Global Progress, MOL Admiration and Bonti Harmony are due to sail out on Wednesday.

A total tonnage of 0.115m tons comprising 26,729 tons of export cargo and 88,589 tons of import cargo was handled.

The following ships are due on Wednesday: Aegean Tiger with crude oil, Kapitan Byankin, Kota Hakim, Hyundai Stride, Y.M. Fortune, Kuo Chang with containers, Pacific Express with steel cargo, Ocean Lord with steel coils and Hyderabad with general cargo.
