Mountain peaks receive snow
GILGIT, Sept 23: After heavy rain on Saturday night, mountain peaks in Northern Areas received clusters of snow. It was the first snowfall of the season in the region.
The rain lowered the temperature in hilly areas and damaged crops and fruit. No casualty was reported. Demand for fuel and firewood increased in hilly areas because of chilling temperature.
