ISLAMABAD, Sept 22: The Election Commission of Pakistan has so far issued 35 forms to likely presidential candidates from across the country, Election Commission Secretary Kanwar Muhammad Dilshad said on Saturday.

Talking to CNBC TV channel, he said nomination papers were available with the registrar offices of four respective high courts and central and regional offices of the Election Commission of Pakistan.

He said honourable chief justices of the respective high courts would receive nomination papers from aspirants of the top office of the country.

Speakers of provincial and national assemblies and Senate chairman had sent a complete list of voters to the election commission, he said.

After scrutiny, voter lists would be sent to the chief justices of the respective high courts.—APP
