TIMERGARA: Housewife shot dead

TIMERGARA, Sept 22: A woman was shot dead in Lower Dir’s Talash area on Friday night reportedly over a domestic dispute.

Unidentified gunmen entered a house in village Bangai Talash and opened indiscriminate fire on the inmates killing the wife of Bakht Rahman on the spot, police sources said.

The accused escaped after the attack.

Police have registered a case.

Meanwhile, two vehicles were taken away from two filling stations in Talash.

Police sources told Dawn that a pick up (DRC-5009) was taken away by unknown car lifters on Friday night.

Another car was lifted in Bandagai area.

Police have registered a case.

Relatives of the victims told Dawn on Saturday that the car lifters were sending them messages demanding Rs2,50,000 for each stolen car.
