MANSEHRA, Sept 19: Wafaqul Madaris Al-Arabia has announced that it will observe a countrywide protest and black day on September 21 against the killing of Maulana Hassan Jan.

Speaking at a press conference here, central deputy nazim of the madaris Mufti Kafait-ul-Allah said the killing of Maulana Hassan Jan was a conspiracy of the infidels who wanted to spread anarchy and lawlessness in the country to serve their evil design.

He said that if the government wanted to maintain the law and order, the killers of Maulana Hassan should be apprehended without delay.

He said the federal government had failed on all fronts and due to its pro-American policies, suicide attacks and explosions had increased alarmingly.

Mufti Kafait said the provincial government was striving hard to maintain the law and order situation, but what happening in the NWFP was the result of policies of the federal government.

He said that protest demonstrations and rallies would be taken out across the country.
