KARACHI, Sept 18: Six ships carrying tallow, chemicals and to load cement are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Wednesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was maintained on the higher side where seven ships, Hansa Century, Sinar Bintan, Kapitan Byamkin, Wan Hai-301 and Pac Antlia to unload and load containers, Navios Hios and Trogir to offload coal were berthed.

Six ships, Salina, Jitra Bhum, Captain Mustafa, Oel Trust, Pac Antlia and Uranus-7 departed on Tuesday, while Aegean Tiger, Kapitan Byankin, Wan Hai-301 and Hansa Century are due to sail out on Wednesday.

A total tonnage of 90,088 tons comprising 18,578 tons of export cargo including 8,237 tons of cement and 71,510 tons of import tonnage was handled on Tuesday.

The following ships are due on Wednesday: Stolt Ami, Santos-C with chemicals, Formosa Product Alpine to load naphtha, Diamond Park with 8,000 tons of tallow, Y.M. Moon with containers and Lucky Arrow to load 13,000 tons of cement.
