HYDERABAD, Sept 15: The registrar of the Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET) on Saturday extended to Sept 20 the date for admission to the first year of engineering, architecture and city and regional planning for 2007-2008 under the regular, self-finance and special scheme.

He said that only the HBL Mehran University Booth would issue admission forms up to Sept 20.

BANK GUARANTEE: The registrar of Liaquat university of Medical and health Sciences (LUMHS) announced on Saturday the university had decided to return the bank guarantees, which the students had deposited on self-finance basis in pursuance Sindh High Court order.

The registrar said that the entry test for admission to MBBS and BDS (2007-08 session) at LUMHS Jamshoro would be held on Sept 23 at 8am at Football Fround Niaz Stadium.

He said that the interview of the candidates under reserved seats for Hafiz-i-Quran would be held on Sept 27 at 9am in the office of the director of admission.
