KARACHI, Sept 15: Seven ships carrying containers, coal and to load cement are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Sunday, according to KPT sources.Six vessels including Grand Phoenix to unload cars, Asian Queen to load cement, Emirate Karan, Scotland, Global Prince to unload and load containers and Sun Fine, an oil tanker were berthed after the departure of eight.

The ships, which departed included Iran Sattari, Eric G. Gibson, Kota Ganteng, Hope Star, Anawan, Pacific Arrow, Oriental Salvia and Grand Phoenix, while Mutha Supreme, Ruhunpura, Global Prince, Scotland, Fiver Ocean, Salina, JOP and Oel Trust are due to sail out on Sunday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was modest where a total tonnage of 68,079 tons comprising 26,918 tons of export cargo including 1,473 tons of rice and 5,084 tons of cement and 41,161 tons of import tonnage was handled on Saturday.

The following ships are due to on Sunday: Uraus-7 with lube oil, Lalazar with crude oil, Jitra Bhum, Jade Trader and Sinar Bintan with containers, Navious Hios with coal and Team Al-Emirates to load cement.

The following ships are due on Monday: Fasvar, Pac Antlia and Wan Hai-301 with containers.
