Landmine blast kills man, 4 hurt

JACOBABAD, Sept 13: A man was killed and four others were injured in a landmine explosion in Kandhkot area near Mundhrani Pat village on the Sindh-Balochistan border on Thursday .

Reports said that a pick-up truck carrying five people was on its way to the village when it hit a landmine. Raza Mohammad died on the spot. A buffalo was also killed in the incident. Three of the four injured persons were identified as Master, Hashim and Mehar.

They were rushed to the Kandhkot hospital. No FIR had been lodged at any police station till the filing of this report.
