NOWSHERA, Sept 13: The body of a 16-year-old girl was found on Thursday in the Bachyano village, not far from the Peshawar-Islamabad Motorway.Police said they had been informed by some farmers about the presence of the body in the area.
They said the body was beyond recognition because of severe burns caused by acid.
They said the girl also had bruises on her throat, suggesting that she might have been hanged before being sprinkled with acid by the culprits.
Her body was sent to the mortuary of the Lady Reading Hospital, Peshawar, because of non-availability burns experts in the area.
