ISLAMABAD, Sept 11: The death anniversary of the father of the nation, Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah, was observed with reverence across the country on Tuesday.
Different political, social and educational organisations organised programmes to mark the day. Quran Khawani was held at the Mazar-i-Quaid and people visited the Mazar, laid floral wreaths and offered Fateha.
President Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz in their messages called upon the nation to follow the guiding principles of faith, unity and discipline of the Quaid.—PPI
