Mati shines in AKU tourney
KARACHI, Sept 11: PPTA team defeated Tapal Energy by six wickets in the round match of the 6th AKU Sports Centre cricket tournament at the AKU Sports Centre ground on Monday.
Electing to bat first, Tapal Energy scored 139 before losing all their wickets in 21.5 overs. Raheel (41) and Mustasim (24) batted well for Tapal Energy. From PPTA, Mati-ur-Rehman and Farhan took 4-25 and 2-28 respectively.
In reply, the PPTA chased the target for the loss of four wickets. Javed (35), Mati-ur-Rehman (34) and Zeeshan (32) were the main scorers.
Mati-ur-Rehman was given the man-of-the-match award.—PPI
