UPPER DIR, Sept 11: Two people were killed in Upper Dir apparently over an old enmity, witnesses and police said on Tuesday.

Salamat Khan and Naseem Khan were going to Sheringal from Patrak when some unidentified men stopped their vehicle in Malo Khuar, Sheringal, and dragged them out.

They opened fire on them, killing them on the spot. Police said a driver brought the dead bodies to the police station.

The first information report was lodged on the driver’s statement.
