Asma critical of Saudi role

LAHORE, Sept 10: The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan chairperson Asma Jahangir has criticized the Saudi government role in the Nawaz Sharif exile.“A dictator (Saudi King)has helped another dictator (Gen Musharraf),” she told bbc.com.Terming it (deportation) an act of ‘international mafia’, She says Riyadh should not have become a party to it. By keeping Nawaz Sharif in their country forcibly, she said, the Saudis were committing another illegality.

According to her, a press conference addressed by the Saudi intelligence chief and an un-important person like Saad Harari where they defended an ‘illegal agreement’ was a blow to Pakistan’s sovereignty.
