TIMERGARA : Young man shot dead

By Our Correspondent

TIMERGARA, Sept 10: A young man was shot dead in the forest of Amlookdara Talash by unidentified men here on Monday. Bahadar Khan, a resident of Ghiljo Talash, was cutting wood in the forest of Amlookdara when unidentified men opened fire, killing him on the spot.

A villager told Dawn that owners of the forest had imposed a ban on wood cutting after declaring that they had taken the responsibility of preserving the forest in the area.

Police have registered a case and are investigating.
