KARACHI, Sept 10: Four ships carrying soyabean oil, containers and steel are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where seven ships, Soon Fu, Oel Mumbai, Oel Spirit, Conti Germany, Gulf Bridge to unload and load containers, Ocean Bridge to offload coal and Caribbean Carrier to load cement were berthed.

Seven vessels including Aegean Tiger, Taxiarechis-1, Red Sea Spirit, Bolan, Oel Mumbai and Soon Fu departed on Monday, while Ocean Bridge, Mol Ability, Frankfurt Express, Banglar Mookh and Oel Spirit are due to sail out on Tuesday.

A total tonnage of 0.127m tons comprising 27,592 tons comprising 27,592 tons of export cargo including 4,609 tons of rice and 11,739 tons of cement and 98,918 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Tuesday: Anawan with 9,000 tons of soyabean oil, APL Sokhna and Oel Shreyas with containers and Hope Star to unload steel cargo.
