Govt will abide by verdict: AG


LAHORE, Sept 9: The government would abide by the Supreme Court verdict and allow the exiled former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and his brother Shahbaz Sharif to return to Pakistan, Attorney-General Malik Mohammad Qayyum said on Sunday.

Talking to Dawn, he said once the Sharif brothers back home, they would be dealt with in accordance with the law.

The attorney-general said ultimately the PML-N leader admitted that he had been banished in the light of an agreement mediated by a brotherly country.
