KARACHI: Robber shot dead

KARACHI, Sept 9: A burglar was reportedly shot dead by area people in Gulshan-i-Iqbal late Saturday night. Police said that they had been informed about a body lying near a restaurant at main Rashid Minhas Road.

Police quoting the area people said that the suspects had attempted to escape after committing burglary in two houses in Gulshan-i-Iqbal, Block 10-A.

Some area people had chased the alleged burglars and opened fire resulting into the death of one, however his accomplice managed to escape. Sharea Faisal police shifted the body to the Jinnah Hospital for autopsy.
