KHAR (Bajaur Agency), Sept 8: Two checkposts of the Bajaur Levies Force were attacked on Saturday morning.Officials said that a checkpost in the Sarlara area was damaged when it was hit by rockets fired by militants. Two rockets had been fired on the post, located about 22kms from here near the Pak-Afghan border.

Two soldiers, Aman Khan and Siyar Khan, were injured in the attack.

In the second attack, militants destroyed a vacant checkpost about 24 kms from here using an explosive device. Nobody has so far claimed responsibility for the attacks.

It may be mentined that after talks with a jirgasent by administration, local militants had

announced that they would

not attack government installations.
