HYDERABAD, Sept 8: The Qasimabad police have arrested seven persons, including four employees of a multinational company dealing in liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), after a cylinder-laden trailer overturned below the Hussainabad railway bridge on Friday night, raising fears that cylinders might explode.

The trailer overturned after its structure hit the iron bridge.

Miraculously, none of the 1,096 small and 40 big LPG cylinders exploded and the cylinders were shifted to police headquarters and the 14-wheeler trailer was lifted through a crane by police.

The arrested persons included Azhar, Adnan, Naveed Leghari of SHV company—the multinational company—contractor Noor Ahmed and his partner Altmash Farooque, driver Shafiqullah and cleaner Mohammad Zahid.
