Inter-school basketball
KARACHI, Sept 6: The CAS Boys School conjured up a second successive victory when they got past Bay View Academy 11-8 in the Karachi Inter-school Sports Week basketball tournament at the latter’s court on Thursday.
Drawn in pool ‘A’, the CAS had beaten Indus Academy in the opener. In another match of the same pool, AMI School earned full points when they beat Indus Academy 12-7.
In girls matches, Bay View outplayed Indus Academy 34-6 with Haniom scoring 18 while CAS School edged Defence-American School 19-2. Ramsha Mushtaq scored 10 for the winners.—Sports Correspondent
