LAHORE, Sept 6: An anti-terrorism court on Thursday granted the physical remand of 16 Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) workers, including PML-N Lahore President Mian Marghoob Ahmad, to police for two days.
Green Town police registered cases against the workers under sections 353, 186, 341,342, 356, 188, 148 and 149 of Pakistan Penal Code, 7-Anti-Terrorism Act and 16 Maintenance of Public Order. The court also issued notice to police to submit report till next date of hearing (Sept 8) on a bail application filed by Marghoob. —Reporter
