MITHI: Biggest robbery in Thar


MITHI, Sept 6: Robbers deprived the passengers of a coach of their valuables near village Panjpura at Mithi-Naukot road early on Thursday morning.

According to reports, six armed men with pistols embarked the coach from Mithi and held the passengers hostage at gunpoint and robbed their jewellery, cash, mobiles, watches and other valuables.

Police have started investigations. It is said to be one of the biggest robberies in the history of Thar region.—Correspondent
