KARACHI, Sept 6: The Pakistan Post Office has issued a commemorative stamp carrying the image of a JF 17 Thunder Aircraft on the Defence Day on Thursday.
The multicolour Rs5 stamp has been designed by Fazi Ameer and printed by the Pakistan Security Printing Corporation. Postal covers and leaflets of Rs5 and Rs10 denomination have also been issued.
Being manufactured under a China-Pakistan joint venture, the aircraft made its first public appearance in Pakistan over Islamabad during the Pakistan Day parade on March 23, 2007.
