Court seeks trial of Azam Tariq’s ‘killers’ in jail
RAWALPINDI, Sept 4: An anti-terrorism court judge here on Saturday in a letter to chief commissioner Islamabad sought trial of two alleged murderers of Maulana Azam Tariq in Adiala Jail.
Judge Habibur Rehman said sensitivity of the case demands trial of the accused Mohammad Ali and Mudassir in the jail. Three persons, Sajid Naqvi, Amanullah Sial and Nasir, had already been acquitted in the case.
