LAKKI MARWAT, Sept 4: The chief executive of the Peshawar Electric Supply Company, Brig (retd) Sakhi Marjan, has said that a 45-kilometer-long transmission line will be laid from Tajazai to Darra Pezu before launching work on the 132KV Pezu grid station project.

He was speaking at a public meeting at the residence of Darra Pezu Union Council Nazim Mohammad Aslam Khan here on Tuesday.

“The projects of grid station and transmission line will be completed at the cost of Rs220 million,” Pesco chief said.

He said the area people would get rid of loadshedding and low voltage after the completion of these projects.

He appreciated UC Pezu nazim for providing 50 kanals for the grid station.

The Pesco chief directed the authorities concerned to equally distribute electricity load on the three oil circuit brakers (OCBs) in the present 66KV Pezu grid station so that the rural population could not face the problems of low voltage and power breakdown anymore.He said that Rs70 million was being spent to provide power to each and every house of the district.
