KARACHI, Sept 4: A security guard shot his colleague dead on Tuesday following an altercation.
The guards, associated with a private security company, were deputed at a bungalow in the Defence Housing Authority. According to police, the deceased Hayat Gul, 26, had an argument with Naimatullah that later turned serious and resulted in his death. However, the culprit swiftly fled.
Clifton SP Azad Khan said that the area people had shifted the body to the JPMC for autopsy.
An FIR against Naimatullah, who hailed from Dir, NWFP, had been registered at the Darakhshan police station, he added.
