KARACHI, Sept 3: Ten ships carrying palm oil, logs and to load ethanol and other commodities are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where 10 vessels, notably, Al-Barakah, Lucky Arrow to load cement, Spilt to offload coal, Oel Trust, Satha Bhum, Bonga Terasek to unload and load containers and Lalazar and Sinar Agra to offload crude oil were berthed.

Eight ships, including Eric G. Gibson, Mystras, Ocean Dominance, Fatma Ana, Morning Hope, World Dynasty, Sinar Agra departed on Monday, while Novanoor, Satha Bhum, Bunga Terasek and Mol Admiration are due to sail out on Tuesday.

A total tonnage of 0.177m tons was handled during the last two days comprising 23,609 tons of export cargo and 0.153m tons of import tonnage.

The following ships are due on Tuesday: Cancate Star to load 30,000 tons of naphtha, Gemini with 7,000 tons of palm oil, Skychem to load ethanol, Aegean Tiger with crude oil, Kapitan Byankin, Hyundai Future, APL Amman, Cosco Shekou with containers, Jin Li with coal and Imperial with 5,000 logs.
