Tunisia to help develop textile sector

ISLAMABAD, Sept 3: Pakistan and Tunisia will join hands in development of textile industry besides cooperation in other areas, said Federal Minister for Textile Industry Mushtaq Ali Cheema on Monday.

He was talking to visiting Tunisian Minister for Industries, Energy and Small and Medium Scale Enterprise Arif Chelbi. The delegation is visiting Pakistan to explore ways for increasing trade and cooperation between the two countries.

The minister said Pakistan-Tunisia Joint Commissioner was indeed a useful institutional framework for reviewing existing economic relations and identification of new opportunities in Pakistan, including textile sector.
