LONDON, Sept 3: The euro was stable against the dollar Monday as the US Labour Day holiday kept trading volumes low and with central bank rate decisions later in the week overshadowing economic data.

In late European trade, the single currency rose to $1.3613, from $1.3623 in New York late on Friday.

The dollar increased to 115.83 yen, from 115.76 yen late Friday.

The euro was changing hands at $1.3613, against $1.3623 late on Friday, 157.65 yen (157.76), 0.6747 pounds (0.6752) and 1.6463 Swiss francs (1.6465).—AFP
