Beijing backed
OSAKA, Aug 31: Top British Olympics official Sebastian Coe on Friday backed Beijing to overcome its pollution and food safety problems ahead of next year’s Games.
The Chinese capital has come under fire over its poor air quality and some competitors have been warned not to eat outside the athletes’ village for fear of poisoning.—AFP
