Soldier among 4 hurt in clash

MIRAMSHAH, Aug 28: One soldier and three tribesmen were injured in a clash between security forces and militants near Miramshah on Tuesday morning.

Sources said security forces called in helicopter gunship which pounded suspected locations.

The militants fired rockets on the Amin checkpost. Soldiers fired artillery shells on suspected locations. Two people were injured in an attack on a Tablighi centre.

A shell hit electricity cables, wounding one child. One soldier was injured in an attack on the Banda post.—Correspondent
