RAWALPINDI, Aug 28: Bailiffs on the directives of district and sessions judge, in two different cases, recovered two minor boys and a woman and handed them over to their claimants on Tuesday.

In the first case, bailiff Faisal Mirza recovered five months old Mohammad Hasan from the custody of his father and gave him to his mother Syeda Masooma Asmat. The woman had told the court that her husband Hassan Zulfiqar had snatched the boy after quarrelling with her.

She said she got married with Zulfiqar, a resident of Gujar Khan, on July 2, 2006 and both lived with her mother in Dhoke Kala Khan. She said from the very first day of the marriage, she was maltreated by Zulfiqar who did not work to earn a livelihood.

She said three months ago Zulfiqar quarrelled with her and left the house. Later, he returned and snatched the boy from her.

The court asked both the parties to appear on September 6 for the settlement of the custody issue. In another case, bailiff Mehboob Awan recovered a woman along with her minor son from the custody of her husband and handed them over to her father.—A Reporter
