JI to enforce Islamic laws, says leader

By Our Correspondent

JACOBABAD, Aug 26: Amir of Jamat-i-Islami Sindh, Asadullah Bhutto MNA, has said that his party had been working for enforcement of Islamic laws in the country since its very inception.

Addressing a function to mark the 67th foundation day of his party here on Sunday, Mr Asadullah Bhutto said that Jamat-i-Islami was working under different names and political identifications in different countries.

Appreciating the formation of APDM, he predicted that the alliance would be beneficial for the people and country and unite major political parties on a single platform and prove that entire nation was united against the ‘American agents’. Later, talking to journalists at the Press Club Maulana Bhutto said that they opposed army operation in Balochistan and also criticized the way in which Nawab Mohammad Akbar Bugti was killed.
