HBL beat Police

KARACHI, Aug 25: Fancied Habib Bank opened their campaign on a winning note when they overwhelmed Police in the opening match of National Departmental Basketball Championship which commenced at Arambagh floodlit court on Saturday.

The Habibians were home 86-47 after enjoying 35-21 lead at half time.

PAF earned full points when they whipped Rangers 82-75 after leading 46-44 at half time.

In the third match, POF Wah struggled to beat KESC 59-56 while the match between Railways and Army was in progress at the time of filing this report.
