LAHORE, Aug 25: The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has postponed the two-match series between Pakistan and Afghanistan women teams, scheduled for Sunday and Monday.

This was announced by a PFF spokesman without citing any reason.

Afghanistan did participate in the third national women’s championship, which ended in Islamabad on Friday. They had lost the final to Lahore Club.

However, instead of travelling to Lahore to play two matches, it preferred to return home.
