KARACHI: Lunar eclipse


KARACHI, Aug 25: The Pakistan Meteorological Department announced on Saturday that there will be a total eclipse of the moon on Tuesday, August 28, 2007, but it would not be visible in Pakistan.

The partial lunar eclipse will begin at 13:50 PST, while the total eclipse will be at 15:37 and end at 17:24.

It will be best visible from the Pacific Ocean, the Americas, eastern parts of Asia, Western Australia and Antarctica.—PPI
