Four killed in Lahore

LAHORE, Aug 24: Four people were killed in separate incidents here on Friday.

A man was shot dead over property dispute in Sherakot. Muhammad Yousaf, 40, and his neighbour Qadir had a dispute. Qadir and his accomplices came to his Yousaf’s house and shot at him, killing him on the spot.

Separately, a hotel worker was clubbed to death in Nasirabad. Rashid Ahmad had a scuffle with his co-worker Irfan over a petty issue. Irfan attacked Rashid with a club leaving him seriously injured. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his wounds.

In another incident, a cement dealer was shot dead over a money dispute in Green Town. Sheikh Omair had borrowed some money from Nabil, 25. On Friday, Nabil went to Omair’s house and demanded the money. Following an argument, Omair opened fire, wounding Nabil critically. He was taken to a hospital but to no avail.

A factory worker was shot dead by unidentified people in Harbanspura. Muhammad Anwar was going to his office when two unidentified men shot at him. He succumbed to the bullet wounds instantly.

The police have registered separate cases and started investigations.
