KARACHI, Aug 22: The pre-qualifying round of the second leg of ITF juniors’ ranking tennis tournament will commence at 9:30am on Friday at the Karachi Club.

According to the organisers, the pre-qualifiers will be followed by a two-day qualifying round, slated for Saturday and Sunday, while the main round begins from Monday.

A Sri Lankan identified as Michael Siyagune, who was unable to compete in the ongoing first leg, is scheduled to arrive from Colombo early Thursday morning.

Nasir Dawood, a former tennis player, is sponsoring the second leg of the back-to-back tournaments.

All interested players have been asked to report at the venue on the given date and time.
