SAHIWAL, Aug 21: Two under-trial prisoners were found dead at the central jail on Monday night.

Reports said Muhammad Akram, a resident of Chak 29-SP, was sent to the central jail on the charge of being involved in four robbery cases while Abdullah, a shopkeeper of Arifwala, was allegedly involved in adulteration. They were found dead in their barracks.

The district and sessions judge has appointed judicial magistrate Abdul Rehman Warraich to inquire into the mysterious deaths of the captives.
