ISLAMABAD, Aug 18: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has asked parliamentarians and members of the provincial assemblies to submit statements of their assets and liabilities before September 30.
They have also been asked to provide statements of assets of their spouses and dependents before the last date.
Chief Election Commissioner Justice Qazi Mohammad Farooq said that this was mandatory under the Representation of the People Act, 1976 and the Senate (Election) Act, 1975.
