ATTOCK, Aug 18: A man was killed over a petty dispute in Mirza village on Saturday. Faizun Nisa told Attock Saddar police that her five-year-old son was present on the terrace of the house in the morning when her neighbour, Adeel, asked him to stop playing there.

He also exchanged harsh words with her brother-in-law Dawood over the issue and abused her when she intervened.

After some time, Adeel’s brother Jameel forcibly entered her house and dragged Dawood out. He then attacked Dawood with a spade which resulted in his death.

On receiving information, the local police rushed to the scene and shifted the body to District Headquarters Hospital, Attock. They also registered a murder case against the accused who had managed to escape after committing the crime.
