KARACHI: Protest in Saddar Town

KARACHI, Aug 15: Shopkeepers and residents took to the streets on Wednesday in Saddar Town to protest against overflowing sewage and pathetic sanitary conditions in the area.

Protestors blocked two roads in UC-8 and chanted slogans against the UC nazim for not cleaning the sewerage lines, which had been overflowing for the last week. They claimed that sewage had entered some printing presses and computer graphics shops, damaging machinery and halting work.—PPI
