Newcomers take Bayern to victory
BERLIN, Aug 11: Miroslav Klose scored twice and Luca Toni got another on their debuts for Bayern Munich in an easy 3-0 victory over promoted Hansa Rostock at home on Saturday.
Bayern, championship favourites after their record 70 million euros ($95.87 million) spending spree in the close season lived up to pre-season expectations with an entertaining attacking style not seen in Munich for years.—Reuters
