Kidnapped youth found in tribal area

GUJRANWALA, Aug 11: The police claimed on Saturday to have recovered a private hospital chairman’s son who was kidnapped for ransom a week ago near Kamoki. Imran Chand, 27, son of Muhammad Anwar, was going somewhere by his car when some people got into his vehicle and took him to tribal area.

The police and administration of tribal area launched an operation and recovered Imran and informed his parents who brought him back home. His father denied that the kidnappers had demanded ransom from them.

CARDIAC HOSPITAL: Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi will lay the foundation stone of a cardiac hospital near Wazirabad on the Independence Day. This was stated by City District Nazim Fayyaz Ahmad Chattha and an MPA, Engineer Muhammad Ashraf Butt, here on Saturday. They said the hospital was a gift of the chief minister for the people of Wazirabad tehsil.
