Exhibition calendar discussed

LAHORE, Aug 10: The Chief Executive Officer of Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), Tariq Ikram, here on Friday held a meeting with the exporters of sports goods, surgical instruments and leather gloves to identify the exhibitions and fairs to be participated by Pakistani entrepreneurs during the year 2007-08.

According to TDAP officials, the authority is contemplating to facilitate the entrepreneurs from various manufacturing sectors of the economy for taking part in some 107 exhibitions and fairs in 44 countries of Europe, North America, Middle East, South East Asia and Asia-Pacific during the current fiscal year.

The meeting was attended by Safdar Sandal and Sheikh Mehboob (Pakistan Sports Goods Manufacturers and Exporters Association), Anwar Bhinder and Wasim Abbas (Surgical Instruments Manufacturers Association of Pakistan) and office-bearers from Pakistan Leather Gloves Manufacturers and Exporters Association (PLGMEA).
