SIALKOT, Aug 9: A Sialkot-based soccer ball manufacturing firm has claimed to have produced the world’s biggest hand-stitched football. The company launched the biggest football at a ceremony on Thursday.

According to manufacturer Ahsan Naeem, the height of the football is 34.7 feet and 29.8 feet in diameter.

He said an advanced technology was used in the production of the ball. He said the technology also helped reduce the weight of the ball by 1,500 kilogrammes.

He said that the ball would be displayed in South Africa for the promotion of the upcoming World Cup of football.
