PESHAWAR, Aug 9: A man died and four others sustained injuries in an explosion at a scrap godown on Ring Road on Thursday. Shakoor, an Afghan national, who was working in the warehouse near Kamboh Adda, died in the explosion which occurred in the afternoon.

The injured —Feroz Khan, Ghazi, Said Rehman and Feroz Ahmad — were taken to the Lady Reading Hospital.

Paharipura police were interrogating the owner of the warehouse, Adam Khan.
